Watefall VFX - WIP (unity)

Wanted to try my hands on some new stuff. I modelled the rocks in houdini and then textured them in substance painter. I also created the bushes and trees in houdini and import them into unity. I created a shader to give the bushes and trees natural movement. There is still more work to be done, but i thought I share my WIP. :D

Stylized Trail VFX

Had so much fun creating these. I use substance designer to procedurally create tileable textures for the trail. The
rest of the textures were done in photoshop and krita.

Particle VFX using UNITY

Recently worked on some vfx using unity particle system, came up with a few concept for some references I found

Tried pixel style shader too but it definitely needs more work 

More stylize fire (AE)

Worked on some stylize all done in After Effects, explored a few different styles of fire for a game I was working on, liked the most right one the most. I used few different techniques, masking smoke, precomp it and adding turbulent displacement on the base fire masks. 

Weapons Flare VFX (UNITY)

Had fun working on different types of gun vfx flares for different types of weapon for a mobile game I was working in IGG.

Terrain Creation (HOUDINI)

Playing around with Houdini's terrain tool. It's really powerful especially getting the colors on to the terrain. 

These took me about 2 hours. It was really fun playing around with all the heightfield parameters. 

Motion Effect Posters (HOUDINI/AE)

Use HOUDINI to create the orange skin and crown splash. Lighting and render also done in Houdini!

Environment UI VFX (UNITY)

Worked on some environment vfx. All done using unity particle system using various methods.
